The Standards Information Point in AGH University Main Library offers access to the complete set of Polish Standards and a rich collection of international standards. Standards and databases are provided free of charge to all interested parties. You can rely on assistance in searching for standards and accompanying documents – amendments and corrections to standards, determining correct document numbers, or checking the currency of standards.
The service provided by the Library for access to Polish Standards is possible thanks to longstanding, close collaboration with the Polish Committee for Standardization (PKN).
To protect the information owned by PKN, the Standards Information Point implemented, maintains, and improves an Information Security Management System (ISMS) in accordance with the requirements of the PN-EN ISO/IEC 27001 standard. This system undergoes annual audits by PKN. Due to the introduction of necessary security measures, access to the collection of electronic standards is possible only on-site in the Special Collections Department Reading Room, on computer terminals, without the ability to copy and transfer files or remote access. However, AGH University employees and students, have the option to print essential excerpts from standards for educational and scientific purposes,.
