§ 4. Intellectual Property Rights

In accordance with Article 27 of the Copyright and Related Rights Act (i.e., Journal of Laws of 2021, item 1062, as amended), the University may make paper copies of fragments of Polish Standards for academic and research staff, students, and doctoral students. Copies should be marked with the text "For educational/scientific use only - name of the University; date of copy creation." PKN reserves the right to control the University's use of the copyright to Polish Standards covered by this agreement. For this purpose, an internal register of created copies should be maintained. During the audit, PKN is entitled to make copies of any files or documents that may be in the possession of the University in violation of the provisions of this agreement.
In the event of any unauthorized use of the subject of the agreement or a breach of the provisions of the agreement specified in § 3, the University will notify PKN and take all necessary measures to recover it and secure it against unauthorized use or dissemination in the future. If the University does not take such steps, PKN may terminate this agreement immediately.

In connection with the provisions of the Agreement, we ask all employees and students of AGH to strictly adhere to the stipulations contained therein.
