Open Access for publications
The provisions of Plan S and the NCN Policy on Open Access to Publications, which apply to all types of scientific publications except for monographs, chapters in monographs and peer-reviewed collected works.

Data Management Plan
It is mandatory and subject to final assessment by NCN experts. It is not required to be updated during the project.

Research Data
All the underlying data included in publications resulting from NCN-funded projects should be documented in a machine-readable and manual search format to ensure findability, accessibility, interoperability and reusability (FAIR data). Where possible, the data should be published in a repository under a Creative Commons Public Domain - CC0 or CC BY. The metadata must meet the OpenAIRE.

ERC European Research Council

Open Access for publications
It is mandatory for publications in journals and monographs. ERC recomends publication on platform Open Research Europe.

Data Management Plan
It is mandatory. It must be submitted no later than six months after the start of the project and is subject to a final assessment by experts.

Research Data
Data should be as open as possible and as closed as necessary in accordance with FAIR principles (searchable, accessible, interoperable and reusable). Deposited in one of the trusted repository, e.g. Europe PubMed Central, arXiv, which provides a persistent identifier and permalink. 

Horizon Europe

Open Access for publications
Immediate for publications in journals and monographs. Publications should be published under a CC BY licence.  Recommended platform, Open Research Europe.

Data Management Plan
It is mandatory. The date for submission of the plan is indicated in the grant agreement (usually within six months of the start of the project). HE requires it to be updated regularly during the project and is subject to a final assessment by experts.

Research Data
Data should be as open as possible and as closed as necessary in accordance with FAIR principles (searchable, accessible, interoperable and reusable). Deposited in one of the recommended repository under a CC BYCC0 licences and have a permanent electronic document identifier.
