At the AGH University Main Library, you will find many places to work and study. Choose quiet zones if you want to work individually, or loud zones if you want to study or work together with friends.
If you want to work or study in a comfortable environment that allows you to focus, choose one of our reading rooms:
To use the reading room of your choice, make sure your library account is valid and you have your student ID/library card with you. If you wish, you can use the cloakroom or lockers, but you do not have to leave your purse or handbag in it. When you enter the reading room of your choice, come to the librarian on duty and register in the Electronic Guest Book.
In the reading rooms you can use the Library's printed and electronic collections as well as computer workstations. You can also use your own materials or your own laptop. In the Main Reading Room you can reserve an Individual Work Cubicle.
Keep quiet in the reading rooms. Please be informed that loud conversations, including phone calls, disturb other users.

To use these places, you don't need to have a library account or have a student ID with you. You can use your own materials and laptop here. You don't have to be quiet.
