The pandemic in the drawings of Stan Eales. Exhibition at the AGH Main Library

Stan Eales is an artist and caricaturist. He was born in New Zealand and currently lives in London and Krakow. He published five books with his caricatures, two of which he dedicated to ecology. His work has appeared in magazines such as Punch, Private Eye, The Spectator and Playboy USA. He even received commissions for environmental cartoons from Paul McCartney.

Presented at the exhibition cartoons were created at the height of the global Covid pandemic, when Stan Eales found himself locked down in Krakow. They are his personal observations, reflecting both his own experiences and his views of a world that was balancing on the edge of madness and disaster. As usual, Stan's cartoons are full of pathos and irony.

The exhibition can be viewed in the Library hall on the first floor until the end of December 2021.
